This is Your True Voice

Let your voice carry
more of who you are.

A personal invitation from Isaac & Thorald · 2 minutes

Your True Voice is a guided exploration of your voice as a whole-body instrument—the connection between your body, your feelings, and the sound you make. You’ll work with the places you hold back, choose songs that mean something to you, and practice bringing your own experience into every phrase.

With prerecorded teachings and weekly live guidance, you’ll move toward recording and sharing your voice—grounded in two practices you can return to throughout the journey.

01 / Love on your voice02 / Trust in your voice

For the part of you that wants to sing

There’s more you
want to let out.

Maybe you sing when no one is listening. Maybe you were told long ago that singing wasn’t for you. Or maybe you’ve already begun exploring your voice, and something in you wants to keep going.

There’s a song you’d love to sing without holding back. A feeling you want to let through. The possibility of being heard without spending every moment wondering how you sound.

What might your voice reveal
if you gave it room?

Two starting places. One shared journey.

Discovering this work

Begin with
the voice you have.

You don’t need a trained voice or a history of performing. We begin with your relationship to sound: meeting hesitation, practicing kindness, and learning to trust your whole-body instrument.

Continuing after Coming Home

Give what you’ve opened
room to grow.

Build on your voice practice with eight keys that take you further into emotional expression, choosing and embodying songs, and preparing to record and share your voice.

The eight keys

Love it. Trust it.
Let it be heard.

Key 1

Meet your voice where it is

Begin with the voice you have today. Notice how it feels to make sound, and make space for what you’d like to express.

Key 2

Befriending your inhibitions

Notice what happens just before you hold back. Practice meeting inhibition with curiosity and giving yourself permission to sound imperfect.

Key 3

Love on your voice

Listen with kindness to the texture and character of your own sound. Explore what becomes available when you give your voice your affection.

Key 4

Trust in your voice

Explore the support of your whole body. Practice following your sound with less second-guessing and greater attention to what you feel.

Key 5

Your emotional repertoire

Choose songs that hold something real for you. Let melody and lyrics become a container for tenderness, joy, grief, and the feelings in between.

Key 6

Learning to be witnessed

Notice how your relationship with sound shifts when someone listens. Explore staying connected to yourself while letting others hear you.

Key 7

Bringing it all together

Bring your work into a recorded expression. Explore backstage rituals and prepare to share a song with your own feeling and presence.

Key 8

Sacred completion

Recognize what you’ve practiced and what you want to keep exploring. Celebrate your expression and consider the next invitation for your voice.

The experience

A Voice-Positive practice.
A safe and brave space to come alive.

Easy-to-follow videos

Follow the eight keys through guided videos and simple invitations to practice. Make valuable time for your voice, one lesson at a time. With lifetime access to the course videos, you can return to the practices whenever you need them.

Gather live each Wednesday

Join The Brothers Koren and Your Big Voice Master Coaches for live support and guided practice. Can’t make it live? All sessions are recorded, and you’ll have lifetime access to the recordings.

Sing with your whole body

Make a song you’ve always loved your own

Choose songs that mean something to you, and explore how it feels to bring your own emotional world into them.

Practice being heard

Practice letting your voice be heard and listening to others as they explore their own expression.

Is this invitation for you?

You don’t have to feel ready.
You can begin
with curiosity.

Your fears can come with you.
So can your hesitation.

  • You love the idea of singing more freely, even if you’ve never considered yourself a singer.
  • You hold back when others are listening and want a guided space to explore being heard.
  • You want to feel more of what you sing, and let more of that feeling come through.
  • Coming Home to Your Voice opened something you want to deepen through song and sharing.
  • You want a guided progression and a group to practice alongside as you take your next steps.

A few things you may be wondering

A little clarity
before your next step.

I’m new to this work. Where do we begin?

We begin by getting oriented to the course and exploring your voice as a whole-body instrument. The early keys focus on befriending inhibition, loving your voice, and developing trust before moving into song and sharing. You don’t need to arrive with singing experience.

How does this build on Coming Home to Your Voice?

Coming Home offers a foundation of regular voice practice. Your True Voice extends the exploration over eight weeks, with dedicated keys for loving and trusting your voice, embodying songs, being witnessed, and bringing the work together in a recording you share.

What if I finished Coming Home and still feel inhibited?

You can bring that experience into this course. Befriending inhibition is one of the eight keys, followed by practices in loving and trusting your voice. The journey gives you room to explore what happens as you move toward song and sharing.

Do I need to consider myself a singer?

No. You’ll work with songs, but you don’t need to arrive with a trained voice or a performer’s confidence. Come with a willingness to explore your sound and what you want to express through it.

Is this a traditional singing course?

The focus is your relationship with your voice as a whole-body instrument. You’ll work with sound and song while exploring inhibition, feeling, expression, and being witnessed.

What is the difference between the two options?

Both include the complete eight-week course, live sessions from 1–2 PM Pacific, and lifetime access to course videos and recordings. The Voice Liberation Track adds optional guided breakouts from 2–2:45 PM PT and one private session with a Your Big Voice Master Coach during the course.

Who leads the live sessions?

The live calls are facilitated by a combination of The Brothers Koren and Your Big Voice Master Coaches. The Voice Liberation Track’s private session is with a Your Big Voice Master Coach.

How long do I have access to the videos and recordings?

You have lifetime access to all course videos and recordings with either enrollment option. Return to a lesson, revisit a live session, or keep practicing long after the eight-week course ends.

What if I can’t attend live?

Every live course call is recorded. You have lifetime access to the course videos and session recordings, so you can catch up when you can’t join us on Wednesdays and revisit the work after the eight weeks are complete.

When does the course meet?

We meet on eight Wednesdays from October 14 through December 9, 2026, from 1–2 PM Pacific. There is no session on November 25 for Thanksgiving week. Voice Liberation Track breakouts follow the course sessions from 2–2:45 PM PT.

How can I inquire about a scholarship?

Scholarships are made possible by the Your Big Voice Foundation. If you need financial support to participate, visit YBVfoundation.org to inquire about a scholarship.

Who can I contact with questions?

We’re happy to help with questions about the course or enrollment. Reach out to [email protected].

Can I pay in installments?

Yes. Your True Voice is $349 paid in full or four payments of $88 ($352 total). The Voice Liberation Track is $497 paid in full or four payments of $125 ($500 total).

What if I feel nervous about sharing my voice?

That’s part of what we explore together. The journey begins with befriending inhibition, loving on your voice, and building trust before moving toward sharing and being witnessed.

Your voice belongs here

What would you love
to let your voice express?

A song you’ve always loved. A feeling you’re ready to give sound to. A little more of yourself, heard by others. Whether this is your first step or your next one, come explore with us.
